4. Did you know that they were invented by the founder...
of the John Birch Society? True. Crazyass right-winger Robert Welch.
I still feel a little guilty when I eat them (but they taste so good)

5. I did not know that.
Well, now I won't miss them.

I sure wish somebody cool like Kucinich would invent a delicious candy so we could eat them without guilt.

"I'm saving the rainforests!" crunch, crunch.

10. Sugar Daddy and Sugar Babies were Robert's invention but...
Junior Mints were invented by his brother, James. Both brothers were crazy as loons but Tootsie Roll owns the label today. Enjoy!

7. Ha, ha, ha, ha
You sure are funny today. How 'bout York Peppermint Patties (is that what they're called?)

Dems eat Atomic Fireballs, cause we need a fireball to shake up the White House. They're not as big as they used to be but Ferrara Pan has been around in Chicago for years and years and make lots of interesting candy. Chicago used to be the candy capital of the world. Hi Chicago!
