Ive got another Confession to make...
I’m your fool
Everyone’s got their chains to break
Holdin’ you

Were you born to resist or be abused?
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?

Are you gone and onto someone new?
I needed somewhere to hang my head
Without your noose
You gave me something that I didn’t have
But had no use
I was too weak to give in
Too strong to lose
My heart is under arrest again
But I break loose
My head is giving me life or death
But I can’t choose
I swear I’ll never give in
I refuse

Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Has someone taken your faith?
Its real, the pain you feel
Your trust, you must
Confess
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Oh...

Oh...Oh...Oh...Oh...

Has someone taken your faith?
Its real, the pain you feel
The life, the love
You die to heal
The hope that starts
The broken hearts
Your trust, you must
Confess

Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?

I’ve got another confession my friend
I’m no fool
I’m getting tired of starting again
Somewhere new

Were you born to resist or be abused?
I swear I’ll never give in
I refuse

Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Has someone taken your faith?
Its real, the pain you feel
Your trust, you must
Confess
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Oh...

if you cant tell i got the new Foo Fighters CD tonight... and i like it...

2. heh, some music is ok for distraction.
some has the opposite affect, i figure i better stick to newly released songs for awhile, no memories associated with them yet. lol.

3. I always listen to the blues when I am depressed.
It either rememinded that there was some poor SOB who had it worse than me or reminded me that I was not the first person ever to feel this way.

5. Hendrix and Clapton always are good for the blues
I used to listen also to some Robert Johnson, Coltrane or Howling Wolf.

11. I know it's not the bluesiest of 'em...
But when Layla comes on the radio, I can never get out of the car until it's over...
I think this is one of the greatest tunes ever... such powerful vocals, such beautiful guitar work, and the seeming unlilely juxtaposition of the two 'halves' of the song is just perfect...
Of course, I don't have it on tape or disc... which is why I can never forego a full listen when it does come on...

13. I've had favorite songs that I've gotten on CD or tape...
and I end up playing them so much that I don't like them nearly as much as I would have if I only heard them by chance.

I've stopped buying the ones that I really love because of this.

(Yeah, I know that I could just not overplay them, but I don't have that kind of control.)
