That isn't from the band of a similar name, is it? DFA 1979?

15. It's because of a serious gravity problem Evie was born with
She uses up and down interchangeably, and you never know where the attack will come from next. :scared:

One of her other nicknames is None More Black. The photo I posted is one of only three I've taken in the last 4 years where you can actually see her face. :D

2. I found one in similar condition in my bed this morning....
They're such sweet and loving animals as long as you're bigger than they are....

The tail is always last. :(

24. the mousies we buy
MUST have a leather tail. Cleo immediately eats the tail, then it's controlled demolition for a few weeks afterwards.

17. We have no dogs
for reasons that are prolly obvious. 100 pounds of cat split up 7 ways can do a phenomenal amount of damage to anything. :D

7. Our cats, when they were kittens, tore one up completely in a day
They're the mighty hunters. I like how you call them Hordes as in the Hordes of Ghangis Kahn.

18. Plato's a horde all by himself
At 18 pounds, and warp speed capability, I'm surprised he's still in one piece. One of his other nicknames is Beef. His brother Socrates weighs 20 pounds; he's also known as Tank. :)

19. The outdoor cats did that from time to time
The one that freaked me out was one night when we came back from the sushi bar rather wasted, and I gigglingly made an off-the-cuff comment to the outdoor cats when I got out of the car, telling them to make themselves useful and bring me some crawfish.

I kid you not, next day there were not one, not two, but THREE dead mudbugs on my patio.

Spooky.

21. Yeah, you don't mess around with cats. I love that story, your cats rock
I had two as a kid and they hunted birds in tandem. My dearly departed mother, who adored the cats, tried to switch them from KalCan, their favorite "wet food," to a dry food mix. They ignored the two perfectly piled dishes of dry food for a couple of days. Then one day mom started screaming. They had placed one dead bird, in perfect shape (just dead) atop each of the bowls of dried cat food.

Needless to say, they got their favorite "wet" food back.

Be sure not to make any sarcastic or violent remarks about friends, enemies or neighbors. You never know what these characters will do.

:hi:

22. That's hilarious!
We were in a legal action earlier this year, which was the culmination of several years of hell. The enemy lawyer came by our house last summer to do a walkthrough. Evie was sitting just inside the patio door while we were outside filming the whole thing. I asked her to put a curse on the guy, and I swear I saw her screw down her little face and close her eyes until she looked like a little black furry Yoda. I wish I'd gotten it on tape, but the s.o. had the camera at the time.

They settled in March. :)

 I like your cats' Mine just mess with birds. Careful what you say about * and Cheney, we wouldn't want them "resigned" or impeached.
