How bad is your vision?
I was just at the eye doctor yesterday.. I had one congenital cataract removed last year with an intraocular implant and now the vision in my eye is worse than before surgery. I had 20/40 vision in it, now its 20/70!!! Good news, my other eye is 20/25 so I only had to get ONE contact lol.

How bad/good is yours?

1. Both eyes need lenses of less than -2 dioptres
I have an astigmatism in both eyes as well.

4. I was a -9 (20/900) in both eyes until Lasik.
Now I am about -.5 in one eye and -2 in the other. Of course, in comparison I feel like it is perfect vision!

6. It's SO BAD...
I sometimes pick a book to read by the size of the text; if it's too small I can't go there. :banghead:

7. Don't even bother to memorize my scrip cause it changes about
1x per year. Astigmatism in both eyes, and map dot dystrophy which may make me blind when about 70, but I plan to be dead by then, so I'm not really worried.

10. I have fairly good vision,
Edited on Fri Jun-17-05 08:29 AM by Shell Beau
but my doc said my eye pressure was high normal. So, I have to get it checked again this year b/c that could indicate Glaucoma. I hope it doesn't, but I found out that my grandfather has Glaucoma and it is hereditary! :scared: And I am only 26, but if they catch it early, that is a good thing!

My husband is almost legally blind. He is +750. He has true coke bottle glasses. Thank God for contacts!
