1. Oh yes!
I had a friend who had a whole collection of 78's and when we would get really loaded we would crank them up and listen. Funny stuff.

6. Der Fuehrer's Face!
Originally written by the Disney organization, Jones re-recorded it.

Jones' version is on Symbolman's "Bush is not a Nazi, so stop saying that."

7. One of the greats, with Jorgi Jorgannsen
I know, spelling is wrong. But, "I Yust Go Nuts At Christmas" is still Home as a youngster for this person of Swedish descent.

9. At first I thought "Spike Jones" was another name for Chuck Jones
Edited on Fri Oct-31-03 02:16 PM by SpikeTrees
Chuck Jones was the director of the famous "Looney Tunes" with Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. The spoken, nasal, Brooklyn-accent voices in Spike Jones material sounded like Mel Blanc doing Bugs Bunny to me. I bought the Spike Jones LP in the 1970s and still was not sure.

12. Oh yeah
My dad was a big Spike Jones fan, so we always had him on in the car.

Now I'm going to have the noise chorus from Cocktails for Two in my head all day.
