I get disappointed by modern production techniques, and so I'm pretty wary of recent solo Neil Finn, but I've heard it's good....


Anyways:

Favorite Enz tune: Another Great Divide (yeas, it's a Tim Finn song, he's awesome too!)

8. Trust me, it's good!

I have both the "One All" (also known as "One Nil" - released under both names) and the "Try Whistling This" albums (title cut on that second one is worth the price of the CD all by itself)

Sheryl Crow and Minnesota's own Wendy Malvoin appear on the "One All" album.

One of the things I find most appealing is the fact that Neil is multi-instrumental - he plays just about everything (guitar, bass, keyboards...)

The production and studiocraft on "Try Whistling This" is some of the best I have ever heard.

"Message to My Girl" is another huge fave with me, too.
Tim singing "I Hope I Never" off the True Colors album is enuf to make your spine tingle - such a pure voice!
Anyone have any news about upcoming Neil concerts here in the states??

would be my favorite CH song. Don't really have a fave Enz tune. I guess, "Driving Me Mad" would be my fave Finn solo song and it has nothing to do with the fact that Ms Crow sings backup on it ;-). I liked it before I realized it was her.

Can't remember when the Enz split up, sometime in the mid-80's?? CH disbanded in 1994 as I recall, and Neil has been on his own ever since.
