Hands up, whoever was so moved by that "Frito Pie" thread
that they felt deeply and profoundly compelled to try it for the first time, or re-experience the heady sensation.

I just lost my innocence.

And I'm nearing "BLISS". :9

5. I am a recovering frito addict and I shouldn't be here
I have no will power. Before you know it I will be laying in the gutter again after blacking out from a frito-pie binge, with corn chips and chili smeared all over my face and nipples.

:scared:

7. *coos soothingly*
There, there. If I'd known what it could do to a person I never would have started in. It's always the victims who blame themselves, isn't it?

it was over 25 years ago. Damn, they're good stuff.

10. I'm just glad my boss didn't catch me
burying my face in it. That IS how you're supposed to eat it, right? Bury your face in the bag and make with the snarfing?

13. Eww, sounds digusting
I can just see some half-brained Texan with missing teeth wearing a wife beater and half-drunk on cheeap beer putting together some sort of low-grade chili slop with 80% lean hamburger and canned beans and tomatoes that were picked too early so never got ripe but are managing to rot already and putting the shit in a large pot on a stove that probably hasn't been cleaned since Carter was in office and eating it out of a mixing bowl while sitting on the couch in his mobile home that also hasn't been cleaned since Carter's time, when he bought it, farting and sweating profusely, his unwashed hair matted down with filth and sweat and his arms burned from another week of working on the '76 Malibu in the front yard, while watching Wheel of Fortune or NASCAR.

23. I could see it on Ranch-style Doritos
But I find fritos to be very heavy, like they're over-oiled or something. Doritos are heavy, too, but not quite as much, especially with the ranch stuff on 'em.

I loved the Light Doritos that were out for a short time many years ago.

25. Ooh, hang onto your stomach, then.
I don't think I've seen any sports bar that doesn't carry chili cheese fries.

I'm going to try to break it down for my own amusement:

fried potatoes
with melted cheese on them
add bacon bits & chives
chili on top, and the kicker

RANCH DRESSING TO DIP THEM IN!!!

*I started to do my evil laugh for you but then I noticed I was feeling a little queasy*

Hmmm...

Something about the chili soaking a bit into the Fritos is just so darn tasty.

28. That must be the secret! Fritos have pores
so, not only does a Frito's anatomy contain grease, it is willing to accept and absorb more!

GOPisEvil, you're brilliant!! :)

26. Ooh, confession time, and this might be helpful-
I actually got not one, but two small bags of fritos for my first frito-pie endeavor. I wanted to be prepared for any over-zealous & tragic bag opening accidents. :D

and making a big, yummy, toxic ball out of it.

At least, that was my experience.
