Like a lot of other folks here, I found DU in late January 2001 after being gobsmacked by the election and feeling politically lost and disconnected. DU was new, there were fewer people, and it was common knowledge.

I think that we need a foundational legend.

We could create a semi-mythical figure a la King Arthur "the once and future admin".
