What is the UGLIEST CAR?!
I think it's that Scion thingy. A BOX! It's your own, brand new box, with very comfortable box seats and box wheels and a box for a window.

25. The Aztec is butt-ugly...
fugly, even, and heads most ugly-car lists.

But, it's got it's devotees who will soon be meeting somewhere for the Aztec club annual gettogether. you might want to hope it's not near you.

But, Aztecs are not just fugly, they're kind of neat in their own way. The camper model has a lot to be said for it, as long as you stay inside and other people have to look at it.

22. I'm glad it's not a big gas guzzler.
For its size, it can carry alot of stuff, considering all the ways you can fold the seats.

I like the way you can zip around in it without feeling like you're driving a oversized road hog.

BTW, just by coincidence, Queen's "I'm In Love With My Car" is playing.

Or maybe it's NOT a coincidence? :-)

10. I love my PT Cruiser!
Edited on Sat Jun-11-05 11:09 AM by Lex

What's ugly is all the boringly generic cars on the road right now--not the PT.

My PT Cruiser has a built in picnic table in the back.

Lots of room! You can configure the seats about 10 different ways!

And a great looking interior with a cueball gear shifter:

13. I don't quite get the appeal of the Cruiser
and the folks who then put the bullet hole stickers on the back... odd.

Not familiar with the Scion, though.

That's what I wonder.

Haven't seen the bullet hole things on a PT--I've seen them on other cars though.

9. At least the Element is practical.
It's a great utility vehicle and is designed for that purpose, with no pillar between the doors and no lip at the bottom of the doors, getting stuff in and out is a breeze. The way the rear seats are removable to bive you a completely flat storage area is pretty sweet as well. Hell, you can pretty much hose hout the interior when it's dirty :).

It may not be pretty, but the Element is one hell of a cool vehicle :).

33. Thank you, Mr. ET Awful.
I LOVES me my Element!

And all the people that gave me a bunch of SHIT about it being "ugly" when I got it? They LOVE it now too. Many of them are even thinking about a new Element in their future as well.

I've not met anyone that says it's "ugly" that walks away with the same opinion after checking it out.

It's looks are actually one of the things I most love about it - it's unconventional - just like it's driver! ;)

43. I had to get a co-signer for mine -
I didn't even have a FICO score!

Now I do - and my first credit card. I got GREAT financing - and my payments aren't bad because I put down 7 Gs.

The problem is, they retain their value so well you can't really find an older one for a lot cheaper than a new one. That may change in a few years though!

the original mid 80's Ford Tauruses. Damn things looked like eggs on wheels to me at the time. I guess it's no surprise you almost never see them on the road anymore. They clearly weren't built to last.

21. Boxes are useful...
and if I was buying a new car, I'd think hard about a useful box with good gas mileage.

And, if I bought one, I'd decorate it to look like the 1920's milk truck it takes after.

You wanna talk ugly-- Hummers and some of the new BMWs. And a lot of the new Nissans.

...now defunct, and for damn good reason

The Gremlin

The Hornet (yes, James Bond drove one, but it was still a piece of shit)

And of course, the ugliest car ever made...
The Pacer!

And just to give you an idea of who would drive a pile of shit like this.....
