Have you ever been "stun-gunned?"

When I was a young thang (in the eighties :D ) my boyfriend bought a stungun at the gunshow. I thought, how bogus (eighties talk, ya know?), this thing can't hurt too badly.

I held it to my chest and zapped myself. That's the last thing I remember, until my boyfriend picked me up off of the floor.

These were the predecessors to tasers. The difference between them and tasers was that you had to be within reach of the person to stun them.

Those bastards HURT and were effective. :D
