Poll question: Favorite Tom Jones Song
Personally, I'm kinda diggin' "Help Yourself" at the moment.

But I love them all.

To be Tom Jones, is my fantasy.

3. Nope.
I used to get up and sing "It's Not Unusual" with a group of friends at Open Mic Night once in a while.

At a Halloween Party about 3 years ago, they set me up and passed out about 20 pairs of panties to the audience, unbeknownst to me.

About halfway through the song, I got pelted with the panties. <pun intended>

Those were the days.

6. There are FAR too many to mention
I have seen Tom Jones about 20 times and every single time he was great. I voted for Sex Bomb in your poll but could have voted for any of them.

And I agree on Help Yourself :D

He has a KILLER version of Motherless Child on the RELOAD CD too!

The guy is a GREAT singer. Honorable mention to his duet with Van Morrison as well on SOMETIMES WE CRY.

And you BET YOUR SWEET ASS I threw my undies at him

Oh yeah...and when you're really bummed NEVER GONNA FALL IN LOVE is good too ...but he also has some GREAT live stuff out there too.

10. Yes, indeed
Too bad he's painted with the lounge lizard image, he's got a great set of pipes for over-the-top soul singing. I favor "If I Only Knew" myself.

9. Patient: "Doc, I can't stop singing 'The green, green grass of home.'"
Doctor: "That sounds like Tom Jones syndrome."

"Is it common?"

"It's not unusual."
