8. I imagine that I am much more likely to be harmed by my own gun
than I would be to harm someone else with it.

(Some people just don't like the idea of firing a gun at another person. I suppose I could do it if I felt my life, or my kids' lives, were in danger, but if I were being robbed, I'd be more likely to try to get out of the house.)
