This is FAST FOOD, folks. Stupid finger stunt or not, I used to work at fast food and the last time I ordered fast food, it was hardly "high quality".

Would you be convinced to eat at Wendys because of their self-hype ad?

1. Maybe, according to an Air America report McDonalds and Wendy's

are the 'good guys' when it comes to enforcing health standards at slaughterhouses that exceed the FDA to protect themselves verses Mad Cow disease.

Okay, flame me if you want, but there is one good side to all the fast food restaurants. That is, whenever you are traveling, and you need to get nourishment, you can be sure that what are getting half-way across the continent is the same quality, consistancy, etc, you got one block away from your home.

Oka, okay, okay....I understand, it's crap quality but at least it's consistant and you're making an informed decsiion when you go there.

As one who has suffered through many cases of food poisoning and indigestion from eating at many, many "greasy spoons" across the midwest, I can tell you that I have come to appreciate fast food restaurants.
