1. Could be heat exhaustion
Heart attack might give you pain in the arm, jaw, chest. Do you/did you have any numbness or tingling? Dizziness?

2. Well.. we didn't figure out my mother's symptoms til after we lost her but
since you're a guy the standard heart attack symptoms apply to you. I would guess that if there is no arm pain you probably are all right. There are other symptoms, though, so google them and make sure you didn't experience any of them as well.

*hugs*

11. some people experience symptoms like indigestion
I don't know if you've ever had heartburn, but something like that. Note (as the other posters have described) that there are a bunch of symptoms, so there isn't just one definitive thing.

12. I suggest that you take the aspirin, BTW chew it, and then call 911.
NOW. Even if you're not having a heart attack, the paramedics should be checking you out. I am a nurse, BTW.

23. How's your heart rate?
Variation in blood pressure and heart rate can be indicators of a heart attack.
Do you feel any better? If it is is just heat exhaustion or fatigue or some other minor problem, you should be feeling better by now.

34. I'd go to the ER if I were you
From your original post, it has been almost two hours. An elevated heart rate and lowered blood pressure is a bad sign. If it was something minor from strenuous activity, you would be better by now.

17. If you do nothing else, at least call an ER
You are experiencing *some* signs of a heart attack. It may be nothing, or it may be very serious.

This is not a game, please don't fall into the trap of wishing this away. If it is heart trouble the sooner you see a doctor the better your chances are.

Best wishes!

21. If it feels like there's a band around your chest - get to a hospital
quickly.

(band squeezing).

My mother-in-law said hers was in her back. Men have it like there's a big rubber band squeezing on their chest . ..

they usually have an on-call nurse you can talk to about your symptoms. From what you said, doesn't sound to good.

24. My chest felt uncomfortable and I was clammy. I thought maybe it was...
indigestion or heartburn. Friends insisted on calling an ambulance crew, who gave me nitro and an aspirin. They diagnosed it correctly as a heart attack. If you have any doubt, call 911!
