Poll question: Does it look like I photoshopped this?

The water was actually black and the rapids had a rather yellow tint, making me wonder if somebody spilled a tanker full of beer (or took a really long pee) into it.

it's 1/4 mile from a power station... so don't go fishing in this river...

2. You should have seen it when I was there!
Like I said, beer or pee... :D

But I am sad. You're not asking how I made it blue.

3. Well, I know how to use photoshop
so I might be able to figure it out. But if you have some special secret method, I'm all ears...

4. Actually, and this is the saddest part,
I didn't use photoshop at all. Just a couple of polarizing filters...

I also scanned in the negative backwards; the rocks should be facing the other direction...

Photoshop will correct the underexposed greens, with a bit of manual tweaking... it was actually quite overcast and the film I used was past its expiration date...

6. Bushdog ain't mine, but thanks anyway! The other one...
has brighter water (what I was hoping for despite the circumstances) but there is a blue color cast throughout.

With 100ISO film, and on a mostly cloudy day, I wasn't expecting perfection. But with Photoshop, my goal is to enhance the blue while increasing contrast and other exposure levels. Should be easy peasy. On a mostly sunny day, I could easily have achieved effortlessly that blue without sacrificing anything else natively.

Still, photoshop is a nice tool to use. :D
