Why doesn't DU list the number of posts we have after 1000?

I know they keep track because you can see them in the user profile. It seems like almost everyone these days is over 1000. How about listing 2000+, 3000+ 4000+, etc.

if you click on the persons profile you can see their exact post total. You exact post number at the time I am posting this is 3,264

in the old DU software, you could see what a person's post count was after 1000.

It led to very bitter arguments pitting long-termers against newbies, often unfairly.

So one of the modifications they made for this new DU is that it wouldn't be immedicately obvious after 1000.
