I used to be a freeper troll extraordinaire... I would survive for so long implanting seeds of cognitive dissonance... I would have 4-5 logins at a time. Then they started claiming that I was from DU and I asked them what it was... and the rest is history. That is how I found DU. I only troll FR periodically anymore.
1. Register as a user on freerepublic.com 2. Post a couple solidly pro-Bush statements, etc. 3. Think of a persona that you can subversively insert innuendo, etc. that will promote a sense of cognitive dissonance in the conservative mind. 4. Find topics where you can practice "divide and conquer..." ...topics and issues that divide conservatives. 5. Keep your subversive propaganda as SUBTLE as possible. It's a game to see how long you can survive. 6. One approach is to be a naive but zealous supporter of W and the Republican Ultra-conservative.... over the top to the point where even fellow freepers are like "whooaaa.... calm down." It is a parody of their own hero-worship but they can not necessarily out you because you ARE a good American admiring the GODLY PRESIDENT. 7. Register a few at time and hold some in the cellar like a good wine. Your "signed up on..." date is very important in defending yourself against troll charges. 8. You want to keep your cool no matter how close you are to getting fried. Don't "go down in a blaze of glory." If some freepers think you were zapped for just not holding the party line on one or two issues, they may start to question the authority of the keepers of the party line. 9. Find old-timers that obviously have others' respect and befriend them. If others accuse you of being a troll having a respected freeper as a friend will help. Often only one supportive post from these people will vindicate you. This technique has actually saved a couple of my logins from getting zapped. 10. Find a good login name.. geographic references are cool...it helps substantiate yourself.. just be sure to be familiar with the region. 11. SURVIVE 12. Creep into their freeper minds and plant seeds!
