She isn't against watching it but she says she has to be prepared for the emotional roller coaster it will probably put her through.

2. Watch Sometimes in April too
It is more graphic but intersects well with Hotel Rwanda. You will then be very depressed, especially when you realize genocide is still going on. Not in the huge numbers, but still continuing.
