America why are you so hell bent on jeapordizing it's most precious credo, the United States Constitution? Why do you treat the Bill of Rights like their flushable when you think they contradict with your religious zealotry?

Maybe it is for the same reason why most of the right wing Christians mostly only quote the "Old Testament" in their arguments and conveinently dismiss the New Testament which was supposed to be the word of Christ. You know paraphrasing here "You have heard it said an eye for an eye, but I say turn the other cheek."

Why do you ignore that Christ supposedly said "Judge not less ye be judged" and "he who is a judger of my father's law is no longer a follower of my father's law?" Why do you right wingers insist on judging everybody and their mother? Do you think your above or smarter than Christ? Aren't pride and putting yourself above what he said cardinal sins too?

My most important questions would be, however, What did you like the war and economic hard times that Bush hand delivered us so much that you just had to vote for him again? What do you have against the unprecedented peace and prosperity we enjoyed during the Clinton years, a democratic administration anyway? Are you sado masochists or what? Are you really better off than you were six years ago?

28. Why is the concept of sharing & helping others in need so foreign to you?

It's so easy to shout "Socialist!" at these ideas, and to put distance between you and them -- but that doesn't really deal with the problems at all.

But the fact is, most homeless people are in need of health care and shelter. Are they less human because they have fallen on incredibly hard times, could quite possibly be mentally ill?

This is indeed a great country, but there are millions of people living in poverty in America. Is that morally right?

Would it hurt so much to give some time and effort, and, yes, maybe a little bit of money, too, toward helping to eradicate poverty and homelessness?
