Who thinks I'm going to lose more "friends" over this?

I got a lot of support yesterday when I was upset about how I have lost "friends" in this Po-dunk town I moved to. Maddy McCall's great response got me laughing at the situation.

So here is the latest and probably the last email I send to these idiots who, by the way, are mostly in AA and have used plenty of drugs in their life. I've cut out most except my personal message to everyone at the beginning and end because the information is in other threads.


ME:
To all of you who have spoken ill of me or gossiped about me or became indignant when I’ve reacted to people trying to force their religion down my throat. To all who have gotten mad at me when I try to support other religions, ethnicities or other minorities. To all who have stood on their high horse when I have tried to point out the destructive effects of the current administration READ ON………………….

In each of these cases you would have to report the relative to the police within 24 hours. Taking time to talk to your relative about treatment instead of calling the police immediately could land you in jail.

Seriously, though, if you stand up to them, then either they will respect you for the individual you are, or they will move along.

Do you really want friends with whom you have to pretend you're something you're not?

since yesterday! I usually say, "Drop dead and die" but I like yours better.

5. A guy friend of mine said it to me once.

Not TO me, but giving me advice on people who were saying ugly things about me.

It's become my standard comeback when dealing with assholes. :D
