1. Staying home in Minneapolis

Watch some racing, maybe see Star Wars, cookout with some friends.

Last year I did the Coca Cola 600 with my sister and nephew, that was enough crowds for 5 Memorial Days!!!

I'm single, and I usually don't care whether I have people around me or not. But, for some reason, I want company this weekend. My best gal friend is in Vegas with her boyfriend, so it's just the kiddo and me.

I'm thinkin' about driving down to New Orleans and getting a room near the French Quarter tomorrow. :shrug:

13. My beautiful 16 year old stepdaughter is here for the weekend.

We hope to go swimming and see Star Wars. I'm going to spend lots of time with my horse too! I've got to help vaccinate 22 horses for Eastern-Western-Venezuelan Encephalitis on Saturday morning.

I think I'll have a gin and tonic and sit in the garden when I get home from work and the farm today.

Have a great time in New Orleans. That sounds like fun!

We hope to be there this summer. My husband is from there. His sister lives in Lacombe.

14. going to a blues concert

The 12th Annual Avila Beach Blues Festival will be on Sunday May 29th, doors at Noon and show at 1pm. Avila Beach Resort Beach Bowl Amphitheater.
Robert Cray Band with special guests The Fabulous Thunderbirds and Sista Monica will be the festival lineup.
