12. Hehe i've met Jesco, mamie and cousin wowie a few times

I drove up to South Charleston, WV during Jesco's last live performance and met the legend and family in person. The comedianne, Julie Scoggins, sponsored the event and it was a blast to buy Jessie and mamie white russians all night.

Jess autographed a bunch of stuff for us and I have a big blown up picture in my music/computer room at home of me with Jesco giving a big old thumbs up. He's really sweet and approachable and a little more frail than I expected in person.

I have friends and family that stress about packing days in advance and pack fourteen steamer trunks for an overnight stay.

Don't be like that. Pretend you're all college students backpacking Europe, cram 4 of everything into a duffel bag or backpack, and go.

Cut off the TV, put on some busy music (with a 120 bpm backbeat), drink a big glass of tea and get packing!
