Oh, you're standing with your arms crossed - taht tells me you're getting bored or defensive. probably you're getting defensive, because you know I'm right about these things. No, don't worry - I'mnot bothreed by you crossing your arms, I'm mature enough and smart enough to accept it for what it is, and I'm beyond being offended or bothered by such trivial things. Still, it might be helpful for you to see a therapist, or at least take some inter-personal communication classes. I have the name of a great consultant, friend of mine, great friend, we met in grad school, has a penthouse on Fifth Avenue, he's wonderful at helping people figure out how to handle their bodies when they're talking. Hey, anyway, gotta go - got a big meeting comin' up, but let's grab a coffee sometime. Call my secretary!

No, it has to be the question, and then offer to provide me NOT their opinion, NOT their thoughts, no, none of that meager stuff, but they offer to TELL ME THE TRUTH.

"You know why that is, don't you? Well, let me tell you. It's because _______"

I especially love it when the because has nothing to do with the question at hand.

"You know why the elections are all fucked up, don't you? Well, let me tell you - it's because of the World Bank, after World War II, set up 8 or 9 guys who control everything and took over our country secretly...they're the ones pulling the shots."

When someone says (and my best friend does this a lot) "You know why that is, don't you?" I know I'm for a real treat.
