Like those people who always get ahead of you in the office do.

27. Most local pizza sucks. There are a few good places.
But I would not expect you to know what a good pizza is. Probably, Pizzeria Uno is the pinnacle, for you.

36. You know, that reminds of the time when I was having coffee with the CEO
and he says to me, this is what he says, he says "Rabrrrrrr, what would you do to help the company out?" and then I told him my thoughts, which became the new mail delivery system. I didn't ask for any credit, because, hey, all for the good of the company right? I mean, anyone could have done it - at least, anyone with the education that *I've* had, which granted is better than most of you. Did I tell you I was on the football team in college? yeah, well, anyway, so now the CEO comes to me whenever he has a problem he can't solve, kind of our little secret, you know? Oh, by the way, you shouldn't be drinking that coffee out of a styrofoam cup - see, I bring my own ceramic one. That styrofoam is cancer causing. I found that out from the American Journal of Medicine, which I read every month. Great reading, kinda hard for the layman, but I get through it with no problem. Oh, you're standing with your arms crossed - taht tells me you're getting bored or defensive. probably you're getting defensive, because you know I'm right about these things. No, don't worry - I'mnot bothreed by you crossing your arms, I'm mature enough and smart enough to accept it for what it is, and I'm beyond being offended or bothered by such trivial things. Still, it might be helpful for you to see a therapist, or at least take some inter-personal communication classes. I have the name of a great consultant, friend of mine, great friend, we met in grad school, has a penthouse on Fifth Avenue, he's wonderful at helping people figure out how to handle their bodies when they're talking. Hey, anyway, gotta go - got a big meeting comin' up, but let's grab a coffee sometime. Call my secretary!

52. I love the ones who say "You know why that is, don't you? I'll tell you.."
They can't just say "I think that's because...."

No, it has to be the question, and then offer to provide me NOT their opinion, NOT their thoughts, no, none of that meager stuff, but they offer to TELL ME THE TRUTH.

"You know why that is, don't you? Well, let me tell you. It's because _______"

I especially love it when the because has nothing to do with the question at hand.

"You know why the elections are all fucked up, don't you? Well, let me tell you - it's because of the World Bank, after World War II, set up 8 or 9 guys who control everything and took over our country secretly...they're the ones pulling the shots."

When someone says (and my best friend does this a lot) "You know why that is, don't you?" I know I'm for a real treat.
