Poll question: Killing time in a major city
Edited on Fri May-27-05 12:43 AM by Blue in a Red State
Scenario: You're in a large city with a couple of hours to kill and there are world-class attractions within walking distance. What would you visit/do?

2. Wandering aimlessly rules.
It's a luxury these days, and who know what you will see.

4. Definitely the science museum, but I enjoy art museums as well
Museums really "pick me up" - because I always learn so much, and enjoy the beauty and creativity on exhibit.

5. Skyscrapers and historic buildings.
I like buildings, and waterfronts. I'd go downtown and find the historic district and explore. This can often be confused with wandering aimlessly. The difference is subtle. :-)

6. If you had a couple days or more, I would vote wander around aimlessly....
but with just a couple hours you should make sure those couple of hours count.

11. I considered a bookstore option
But it's really comparable with "shopping", to some extent. :D
