Carrie vs. Bo? The Democrat wins!

Vestavia Hills GOP Congressman Spencer Bachus is so confident that Alabama native Bo Bice will be the next "American Idol" that he's challenged a fellow congressman to a friendly bet.

Bachus has a friendly wager with Oklahoma Democrat Dan Boren, who represents Carrie Underwood, one of the final two contestants for Fox's "American Idol."

Bachus has put up enough Incahoot's Famous Chicken Fingers and home-made pineapple mustard sauce to feed Boren's entire office.

The restaurant is in Bice's hometown of Helena where hundreds of his fans gather every Tuesday and Wednesday night to cheer him on.

Boren chose to put Oklahoma beef barbecue on the line.

but because she's from the south and a country singer, some DUers are thinking she is a wingnut. Although I am guessing she's more into music and animals than politics.

But I still liked Bo better.
