Apparently, they're bringing back these bands from the 80's...Wang Chung, Loverboy, etc...to give them one more chance at stardom.

Now, I loved a lot of the music from the 80's...but am I the only one who thinks this show might be a bit cringe worthy?

1. fukkin' CBS is casting for the new lead singer of INXS!
I agree with you. I had enough of the Knack 20 years ago.

3. Could be OK.
I saw a thing on VH1(?) where they cajoled the original lineup of A Flock of Seagulls into doing a one-off reunion show, and it was actually kind of cool.

Then again, I liked A Flock of Seagulls. Loverboy might make me harm someone.

5. tv execs have found the perfect stars
washed-up has beens who will work for no pay-who will degrade themselves for the chance to be in the spotlight just one more time.

this is reality tv at its worst-the surreal life and now this. pathetic, sad jerk-offs who have no dignity and no they'll never mount a legitimate comeback

6. The music really wasn't that good back then.
Let's face it, a lot of those bands got noticed because of gimmickery (like Madonna). They've already had way more recognition than they deserved.
