"Comeback-minded" scumbag bottom-feeders Motley Crue sue NBC
FUCK each and every one of these lowest-common-denominator dirtbags. FUCK 'em. FUCK human COCKROACH Vince Neil and his new winery. I hope LOCUSTS eat every FUCKING GRAPE (Do locusts actually EAT grapes? IF not, can this behavior be taught to them? I sure as fuck hope so, because FUCK VINCE "VEHICULAR MANSLAUGHTER FAT ASS" NEIL).

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=795&e=3&u=/eo/20050525/en_music_eo/16626\

The comeback-minded '80s metal band sued the latter network Monday, alleging the Peacock caused the Crue financial "harm" by banning the group after singer Vince Neil cussed during a live New Year's Eve appearance on The Tonight Show.

The group is making a federal case out of the NBC diss. According to the suit filed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, the Crue says the network's ban violates the group's First Amendment rights and caused the band "loss of exposure" and "substantial damage including loss of past and prospective income." During a Jay Leno-hosted New Year's bash, Neil turned to bandmate Tommy Lee and wished him a "Happy f--kin' New Year."

Per the suit, NBC buckled after the incident in an attempt to preempt any potential FCC fines. The network held a press conference Jan. 21 announcing its ban on the "Smokin' in the Boy's Room" players from all programs, prompting shows like shows like Late Night with Conan O'Brien to cancel planned sets from the band. The Crue is crying foul, noting that U2 lead singer Bono and others have similarly said the dreaded F-word live on air without such severe consequences from NBC. (The FCC ruled that Bono had used the expletive only as "a modifier.")

Sounds like BEB has a personal interest in this little legal skirmish.

12. Three words..."these...guys...SUCK."
Rock & Roll can mean a lot of things.

It can mean Elvis.

It can mean The Beatles.

It can mean Clapton, Beck, Page.

It can mean the Sex Pistols and The Clash and Elvis Costello.

It can mean The Cure and and Soundgarden and David Bowie.

It can mean The Who and The Stones.

It can mean Motorhead.

It can mean Buddy Guy and Muddy Waters and Johnny FUCKING Cash.

It will NEVER...N-E-V-E-R...mean these worthless P.O.S. excuses for HUMANITY Motley Crue.

WHY do we make MULTI-MILLIONAIRES out of TRASH like this?

No "personal interest" in the lawsuit, but...and I really hate to repeat myself...

FUCK...this...BAND.

9. Let's not leave out...
"Good for YOU, for taking the time to read my thread and post your response."

Because that's every bit as important as "good for me."

Have a nice day, okay?

4. I wouldn't ever buy their garbage (whoops, music). Will they sue me?
I'm causing them financial harm for not buying their music.

What a frivolous lawsuit.

Coming from an era filled with self-serving talentless toiletwipes, I'm not surprised this sort of thing would happen.

6. They'll probably win the suit too, which brings me to my
point. I always make the same points over and over again about pop culture and who is in the White House at the moment. If you think about it, Motley Cruw fit the profile of what would be popular in the repug era we are in right now. :puke:

7. Surprisingly they are selling out arenas on their tour.
I don't see how this has hurt them really, it's not like they were going to pick up any new fans or opportunities. Anyone who wants to know about them already does. Seems frivolous.

10. I can't fucking believe the nerve of those washed up cocksuckers
They harm the goddamnded sensibilities of the average shit-faced American by uttering the word "fuckin'" on live tele-fucking-vision and then when NBC pisses on them a little bit they start acting like whiney little bitches.

Un-fucking-believable.
