Do you own anything made of Hemp?
This is not a drug thread, this is a Hemp thread and I know that Hemp is suppose to be an excellent, industrial product with a variety of uses include oil & clothing.

But the religious nutbags associate hemp with marijuana even though, from what I was told, you can't smoke hemp.

The only hemp that I own is one of those fanny packs I bought somewhere for $2 that was made of Hemp (says so right on the fanny pack). I've had that thing for over 10 years and it has held up well (I use it when I go to protests).

So does anyone own any hemp-products?

Uhhh, kind of a lot of stuff, now that I'm thinking of it. My wallet is hemp, also checkbook. A portfolio-sorta thing. A belt. My purse. Also have had a couple of pairs of shoes that had hemp uppers.

(We don't use leather.)

Nah, hemp isn't smokable.

Otherwise, why hasn't legalizing this industry just breezed through congress by now?

25. I eat cereal containing hemp seed and flax seed. . .
www.naturespath.com

And Golden Temple makes a granola sold in bulk (at Wild Oats supermarkets) called Strawberry Vanilla Hemp Granola. It's got flax seed, hemp seed, bits of dried strawberries and a vanilla flavoring in it's granola formula. Can't eat enough of it.

www.goldentemple.com

Hemp seed, along with flax seed, is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, essential in regulating cholesterol in ther body.

39. I used to sell hemp products
I have a purse I've had for years, a wallet, a baby blanket, a pair of silk/hemp boxer shorts (very comfy), and I used to have a floor length black hemp dress with criss-cross straps in the back - very pretty. I gave it to a good friend since it won't fit me anymore. :(

I've also had hemp rolling papers, hemp string, and a great balm made out of hemp seed oil that is terrific for cuts and stings. I also used to take hemp seel oil daily as it is very high in omega 3 fatty acids.

40. I have hemp oil moisturizer
The brand is Sun Dog. It is almost miraculous. I discovered it last winter. Now that I am getting older (27), my skin dries out more in the winter. My mother-in-law had bought me expensive moisturizers and lotions. Although they worked alright, missing one day of use seemed to make my skin drier than before I had used them. I tried the hemp oil lotion, which is about 10 times cheaper per weight than what she had gotten me. It works betters. If I miss a day, my skin still stays softer and moister than if I had never used it. In the spring, I had to reduce my use because I started getting some acne.
I also had bought that brand's hemp soap and hemp shampoo. They both don't last nearly as long as more mainstram products. I haven't bought any more because they are realtively expensive for as few washes one gets compared to other products.

44. I have some hemp stationary
It has a smooth finish and is more durable than wood-pulp paper of the same weight, though I don't know if those properties are just the result of more careful manufacture. Supposedly we could save a lot of trees if we grew hemp for paper pulp.
