Do you take fish oil supplements?
I've started taking a supplement that has fish, borage seed and flax seed oils. The problem is that after I take it, I kinda start burping it back up and it doesn't taste so good. I know several here take fish oil. Is this burping business common?

1. I take that same combination.
I don't have any issues with it. Do you take it with meals? You should.

5. Hmmm...don't know what to tell ya.
Maybe you could take less than the recommended dosage? See if that helps?

2. Are they gelcaps?
I've started to take fish oil, but it's only that. Do you take it on an empty stomach?

6. I got some enteric coated fish oil capsules
at Costco, and voila! No fish-burps. They taste kinda minty, actually.

7. Yeah it's common...
I would take smaller caps, with food. With those big caps you're gonna burp fish yuk no matter what.

8. I take flax seed oil.
No problems here, but I use liquid forms rather than capsules.

9. Flax which I grind up....but check out www.ifosprogram.com re: fish oil ..

I'm holding off on the fish oil because of the contamination!! Have been researching and found this site..the only lab which actually tests for contamination, with the brands that meet their very strict criteria......

International Fish Oil Standards look under Consumer Reports tab

11. Here is THE trick you need to know. Keep them in the freezer!
I don't know how/why it works, BUT IT DOES.

Try it. You'll be surprised.
