Help me solve a DU puzzle
This is a strange request, and I'll be amazed if I get an answer.

Yesterday I read a thread reply that included a clever two word Bush bashing slogan. As I read it I thought to myself, I should write this down and use it as a protest sign. Problem is, I was sidetracked with an important phone call and forgot to write it down. I've been searching threads from the past few days and can't find it. I'll try to describe the phrase and hope that one of you will remember it.

1. It was two words, the first word was short, like maybe 3 or 4 letters. I suppose it could have also been 2 letters.

2. The first word was also a 'play on words', when spoken as a phrase the meaning of the word changed.

3. There might have been an apostrophe in the first word and it might have been of non-English origin.

4. The second word might have been "bush", but it could have also been a nickname for Bush. Then again, it could have been a 'republican' synonym.

That's it. Please help me solve this puzzle, it's driving me crazy!

2. #1: What forum did you see it on? #2: What time was it?

#3 do you remember if the threads were long or short?

#2 may be the best clue, as you could pinpoint a lot of posts that way.

4. 1. Either LBN, GD, or the Lounge
2. It was yesterday between 5pm and 10pm, but the thread could have been older.

3. It was fairly long, maybe 50 replies at the time.

I'm at a loss, I've tried all the search permutations I can think of. Short of reading every reply to every post in the past three days, I'll probably never find it. Hopefully the author will see this thread.

6. Well, this is silly but if you have FrontPage,....
...you could download the entire site...Put it in a folder....then do searches till your hearts content, deleting each thread as you go.

Don't laugh ... I did this once to find a certain phrase on another site.!

7. You'd think so
but actually I don't think the thread was specifically about shrub (at least it wasn't about Bush nicknames) . I should have mentioned that before.

8. Reminds me of when the library called today
to say the book my husband had requested was in. I knew he'd asked for several, so I inquired as to the name.

Hours later, I repeated the message but couldn't remember the name of the book. "Something shiny? Gray?" I racked my brains. "Quicksilver!" he guessed. "Yes, that's it!"

Funny how the mind works. Hope you find your answer.

10. Found it!
I searched my browsers history page by page.

and It was... Drum roll....

"Lyin' Kings"

Eh, maybe it's not as clever as I remembered. Still has potential though.

Foreign origin. Hehe. Sorry about the wild goose chase.
