2. Disgusting.
I can't stand looking at that second picture. The idea of eating out of a toilet is too much for me.

4. That's pretty funny
It would be worth eating there once just for the story.

5. Do they serve Pie ala Commode?
I wonder what their matzoh ball soup looks like.

On second thought, never mind.

Sure, why not? Just cuz it's shaped a toilet doesn't mean it's dirty
It's still just a ceramic serving vessel, whether it's an oval, square, bowl, or toilet bowl. Ceramic is ceramic.

Why get all emotional over it?

I'd eat there.

The only drawback I see to it is that toilets aren't the best seats for long sitting, and I think it would get uncomfortable.

10. It's not emotional.
It's simple aesthetics. I'd rather eat in a restaurant than in a dumpster. I'd rather eat while sitting on a chair that looks like a chair. I'd rather eat food that isn't made to resemble feces.

I wouldn't cry about it and would eat there rather than starve, but I certainly don't prefer it.

8. What was the name of the Bunuel's movie where there's a scene
Edited on Tue May-24-05 09:46 PM by swag
with the guest all sitting around on toilets, then one guest discreetly asks a passing servant where the room is, at which point he's shown to a tiny room with a lock on the door, sits down, and begins shoveling food into his face?

I hope I'm not remembering it wrong, but that was a long time ago, and besides the wench is dead.

11. They already have a toilet-themed restaurant here.
It's called Denny's.

13. I don't know if they still have the urine theme down to the Eagle,
on the ground floor of the building where the Kingsmen recorded "Louie Louie." Urinals, drinks served in specimin jars, etc.

It was far more genteel than Denny's, though.

14. What a waste of time and money.
If I want a toilet, I'll go to the toilet. But, I don't eat where I poop or pee. Nor do I want to be reminded of the end result when I choose to eat at home or in a restaurant. Get the picture?
