The Reason a Dog Has So many friends...
...he wags his tail instead of his tongue.

1. Not just any Aerosmith...
...the fried on drugs to the point of forgetting who the bloody hell they WERE Aerosmith.

"Done With Mirrors". The last album before they finally got some rehab, iirc.

3. Probably one of their most obscure albums.

4. Are you sure?
I thought Done with Mirrors was the first post-rehab album. The title is a pun about giving up cocaine (traditionally administered on a mirror).

I'm not sure they know who they are even now-- it's been a long time since "Walk This Way."

Hey, ColoradoDem, I got one for you: is Alex Lifeson's solo in "Free Will" based on that incredible spew of guitar by Steve Howe at the beginning of Yes's "Close to the Edge?" It suddenly occurred to me this morning (on my way to work) that there had to be a connection. (And you can tell from this rumination how deep into my day job I am.)

6. I think so.
In a biography, it indicated that Aersomith got clean in 1986. Done With Mirrors was released in 1985.
