Califuckinfornia
Ohhhh....yeah..... ahhhhh... fewer than 10 weeks and it's going to be home, sweet home for good. B-)

Got back this morning, and taking a day off to recover from the glorious 4-day weekend with Nini soaked in southern California palm-treed sunshine, Tommy's chili-drenched burger bliss, and Pacific ocean sunset nirvana.

Mexican food in San Diego's Old Town, and the best breakfast ever at Jack's in Wilmington. :9 Celebrated Nini's birthday over the weekend with family, and now catching up on some Amtrak-deprived z's.......

Ahhhhhhhh......

Seriously, the stuff wiggles and jiggles. But man, it's tasty.

16. Or as the Red Hot Chili Peppers said ...
Psychic spies from China Try to steal your mind’s elation
Little girls from Sweden
Dream of silver screen quotations
And if you want these kind of dreams
It’s Californication

It’s the edge of the world
And all of Western Civilization
The sun may rise in the East
At least it settles in the final location
It’s understood that Hollywood
sells Californication

7. "Old Town" is being dismantled and relocated. Get there quick!
Casa de Bandini and hamberguesa are moving to where the Old Spaghetti Facory was, and the old police station bldg. One of the other restaurants is moving to Grossmont Ctr. They are building a resort on the Old Town grounds.

31. One of our favorite places!
And all food served on paper plates. After dinner, a nice stroll down the pier or a ferry boat ride to Balboa Island for a frozen banana. Time for one more visit before tourist season. Who wants to go?

33. If you're in San Diego and partial to crab, don't miss the Crab Catcher
in La Jolla - especially their Sunday champagne brunch - best fresh crab in town - served in a huge variety of tantalizing ways.

And the views from La Jolla Coves/Caves to the shorline going north from the Beach and Tennis Club are spectacular.

Is that why you're moving there, to balance it out a bit?

(I'm in L.A. myself.)

26. The county is but the city-proper is getting bluer and bluer.
Give it a couple of year and it'll be full-blue.

Dem, Donna Frye got more votes (write-ins), than the two repukes running on the mayoral ballot.
