American pop culture test for "old" people

I was born in 1971 and I still got most of these right. :P I'll put up the answers later.


01. After the Lone Ranger saved the day and rode off into the
sunset, the grateful citizens would ask, Who was that masked man?
Invariably, someone would answer, I don't know, but he left this
behind. What did he leave behind?____________

02. When the Beatles first came to the U.S. in early 1964, we all

Not really a good trivia test. Too many of the questions are not specific to baby boomers and are more general history or refer to phenomena that still exist. Only numbers 1, 4, 7, 9, and 10 really require one to have been a baby boomer.

8. The bra burning was always exaggerated.
I believe that some feminists once burned a bra as part of a demonstration against beauty contests and the general objectification of women. People fixated on the idea of burning and bra and the rest, as they say, is history.

There was, however, God help us, a poster which read "Girls say yes to boys who say no," implying that conscientious objectors would have, um, success with the women.

12. Women couldn't be drafted, and
any guy who had to wear a bra was probably exempt. :-)

And no women ever actually burned their bras. It was only threatened at one protest, and somehow the media picked it up.

I was thinking Klem Kediddlehopper instead. To be fair, however, Gertrude and Heathcliff were my FAVORITE characters done by Red Skelton...
