saw F911 again last night
with my wife and her sister (who hadn't seen it before). do you remember the scene where the poor iraqi woman is cursing america and bush for destroying her house and killing her family? she howls at her god to avenge the bombing of her innocent family. it was quite a chilling scene, wasn't it? its a scene which stays in your mind. my sis-in-law could not control herself when Lila's son was KIA, and turned to me and said - "What's wrong with America? Why did they elect bush again? That man should be in jail!"
I had to explain that america did not elect bush. he cheated this time too.

2. That scene was very heartbreaking
:( I felt so horrible for her. You could see she was in so much pain. Bush should definitley be in jail. Will there be any justice? I don't think so personally since Poppy has gotten away with so much.

4. I've Watched It 6 Times So Far
The last time was 2 days ago, with a neighbor who hadn't seen it. The lady cursing Bush is a very sad, touching scene, all right.
My neighbor cried several times throughout the show. I recommend every household purchase and watch F9/11. It's very informative, and it helps you see the "bigger picture" after connecting the dots...

6. And "the bigger picture" is at the same time the most personal.
This is Moore's real talent. He brings it all down to real people, not vague abstractions.

7. Michael Moore Is Extremely Talented
Edited on Mon May-23-05 02:24 AM by thecai
And even though the subject is not a bit funny, he added quite a bit of humor, (Bush's expressions and ridiculous comments, the looks on the Congressmen's faces when Moore asked if they'd sign their kids up to go to war...).
I think it was very well done, but I hate when people say "oh that's just one man's opinion". It's not "opinion".

8. Just right - not "opinion" at all. Simply observation
that asks the question, "So what?" and answers it with a deeply personal story of just one case.

5. I've seen it twice...
Despite the fact that I own it, I can't bring myself to watch it again. It just sickens me what this sick, perverted freak is getting away with in this country.

9. I saw it in a theater,
and although I loved it, I don't know if I could watch it in the near future. The scene that impacted me the most was the shot of Flint, Michigan compared to a war zone. I'm so glad we're giving those eye-rakkys the gift of freedom that we enjoy so much! :sarcasm:

10. I hated the woman in the scene where...
that woman who's son died in Iraq and was in Washington... some repuke woman comes up to her and tells her its not Bush's fault.

The lady played it cool, but I think I would have been rolling away in a cop car if she came up to me and said the same thing when I was grieving over my dead son.

She reminded of Bush's coordinator Karen Hughes (?)... I hate that phoney bitch.

12. What about the woman in the same scene
Who starts saying all this pro bush shit and tells the mother that the Iraqi woman is a fake and is lying. What a friggin' c@nt. Makes me think she might have been some Whitehouse stooge who happened to be there or was there purposely for disinformation.
