Seriously - it pays to complain
I saw Star Wars earlier today so I figured it was best to pay the $1 fee so I didn't have to wait in line for the movie only to find that it was sold out. I get to theater and go to the Kiosk to pick up my tickets and both machines are out of order. To make matters worse there is a massive line and exactly one person working the ticket counter plus she was stuck with a problem with the customer. So after 10 minutes of the line not moving I go complain to management. After ranting about their Kiosks not working I said what made it worse was I'm stuck in this really long line and you have exactly one person working the ticket counter. My exact comment was "This was opening weekend for Star Wars, didn't you plan ahead for maybe a little increase in business". Finally after my rant I said that I felt the theater owed me a $1 since no where on the site does it mention that Kiosks may not be working and the only reason I paid that fee was to avoid the line.

The manager did one better - he gave me 2 free passes for a future movie (this is the Regal btw).

So, in the long run - it always pays to complain! I don't do it often except when I feel something is really really wrong (this time Kiosks weren't working for ticket picket and lack of employees working the ticket stand)
