You are like a child
with a blindfold.
And friends giggling and yelling
spinning you like a top.

You are dizzy and cannot stand
and you don't know which is front
and which is the back.
As your next step is left to fate.

And the other children leave
you sitting on the ground dazed.
And they make the rounds
to their next victim of mischief.

That is our government
spinning their lies.
And laughing all the way to the bank
As the blood of the children
run in the streets.
Looking for their next victim
in their crusade for truth.

The leaders with their hands full
of blindfolds for the innocents.
Spin them like crazy
Until they collapse from exhaustion.
Follow the leader who never errs
who never makes a mistake.
With God as his compass
Who else to follow?
