My humongous yellow lab. I thought the house had been hit by a meteor or something. The big dumb cody just continued sleeping like it was no nig thing.

10. My parent's cat AJ

(who passed away last year :cry:) was once walking on the coffee table where some candles were lit and set his tail on fire! He wasn't injured, so I don't feel bad that I laughed my ass off!

19. I think it was his reaction that got me.

It was just a tiny little flame on his tail. And at first he didn't even notice it, and we were so shocked we just sat there staring at it. Then it was just like out of a cartoon where he sniffed the air, had this "What's cooking?" look on his face, then turned around and saw his tail. Then he FREAKED and started running around the room until my dad finally caught him and put it out.

20. *lol* The cat that fell of the couch, well when she was a kitten

she was crouched sphinxlike on some newspaper staring at hubby's record albums. (She loves to scratch on the spines)

I crept over and SMACKED the paper. She was so freaked out she did a backward somersault through the air, just like Claude kitty on the old loony tunes cartoon used to do when the dog barked at him. :rofl:

13. Having been owned by a huge crops of cats (11 at this moment,)

I have learned that cats, although often funny and occasionally hilarious, have no sense of humor at all. If I should forget and laugh at them, the punishment can be severe. One old tom once refused to speak to me, or even acknowledge my presence, for almost a week.

15. Isn't that the funniest thing ever! My cat's done that twice that I've

seen and it's truly hilarious. That "I'm wide awake and TOTALLY meant to do that" look is what get's me. Then I get to thinking how peaceful a sleep must you be in to simply fall right off what you are sleeping on and I get jealous.

21. Squirrels regularly fall out of trees around my house. But maybe

that's because they get into the fermenting figs. They also short out electric transformers which is usually a lethal gut wrenching experience for them.
