Favorite soul/ R&B artist?
In spite of my oft-stated ambition to be the first white Pip, in spite of the fact that this thread was inspired by hearing a tune by the Staple Singers earlier today, I have to go with ummmmmmmm errrrrrrrrr uhhhhhhhhhh-- this is impossible, isn't it?

As of this moment, I'll go with Rev. Al Green. Feel free to give your top five, top ten or whatever, 'cause this really is impossible. Whatchasay?
