Skinner is actually very tall with dark curly hair, longish and unkempt, but clean, with a very slight touch of grey at the temples. He has a nicely trimmed beard, and has from time to time smoked a pipe. He wears glasses, but only for reading. He favors corduroy jackets. His favorite has patches on the elbows. Most of the time he wears jeans. He prefers Berkenstocks, but sometimes wears an old pair of loafers.
