Good news! Doc gives the OK for my run on Saturday

That's right folks! I do NOT have mono. I'm not exactly sure why I'm so tired, but at least I know I'm not putting myself at risk for serious injury if I run my 5K on Saturday. (I guess the biggest threat is the the spleen--go figure.)

So, in about 40 hours, I'll be starting my very first 5K road race. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. In preparation, today I ran 3 miles. Tomorrow I will do half that, and I'll spend a little time in the weight room, and a lot of time in the Whirlpool.

Oh, and I guess the other good news is that I can go back to kissing my new beau.
