Is it just me???
O.K. Here in San Antonio, there is the story about the woman who went to her gym to pay a bill. Meanwhile, the repo man, who must have been following her, hooks up her car, and tows it away. She comes out of the gym, sees her car being towed, and flags down an off duty officer. Seems she left her infant in the backseat, and the driver didn't see it. Car stops, baby safe, woman pissed. What gets me is, besides the obvious baby thing, is why is she paying her Golds Gym bill while her car is in repo??? Just my rant for this am.

Why did she leave her infant in the backseat?

On edit: Sorry - I missed "the obvious baby thing" in your post. But still, I think that's the major issue here.

3. Exactly!
She should have never left the infant in the car. But couldn't the guy wait until she came out to make sure she didn't have anything in the car (besides a baby of course) she needed? I think both parties here should have acted better. Especially the mom. And yes she shouldn't be paying her gym bill when her car is in danger of repossession! :wtf:

4. They are going to charge her for child endangerment...and
the towing company for something....both were wrong in their actions.

7. repo men don't wait around for the car owners
there's always the danger that the car owner will go ballistic on them.

8. I certainly can understand that,
but he could have loaded the car up and been ready to pull off in case she/he went ballistic. I know they feel they have the right to take the car and they do. But in situations like this, bad things can happen. It just should have been handled better.
