2. 2%
I can't drink Skim, I think it's disgusting. Whole is too rich for me and it's only good ice cold. If it gets a hair over 33F, it tastes funny.

2%, as low as 1/2% I can drink.

"I see you're drinking 1%. Is that because you think you're fat? Because you're not, you know. You could easily be drinking whole."

5. Whole milk is not very good for you, IMHO.
As adults, we do not need all that fat. And if you drink skim, then you not only lose the fat, you also lose nearly all the cholesterol, since that is where the cholesterol occurs.

I gradually changed my milk preferences from whole down to skim over a period of probably at least months...Now even 1% tastes fatty to me!

I like milk, since it is the easiest way for me to get the calcium and vitamin D that I require...there are other ways, of course...

7. A lot of people can't get past skim's color
That slightly bluish tinge makes my spouse cringe. I actually prefer skim to low %'s myself...

4. Organic milk.
More expensive than "regular" milk, but it stays fresh past the expiration date and tastes better, at least to me.

6. Almond or Hazelnut
Helps with the lactose intolerance, no cholesterol, sweeter taste. I only have it with cereal. I find soy milk too chalky.

8. I'm of an age to know how milk fresh from the cow tastes.
It has absolutely nothing to do with the abomination they call milk nowadays - skimmed, heated, cooled down, heated... Unfortunately I have a lactose intolerance *sigh* so I have to drink lactose reduced. Otherwise I would only buy directly from farmers.

9. Soy or almond milk
Cow's milk is lovely for baby cows, but those of us who prefer not to pack on the pounds like calves do are better off without.
