I think the bird in your picture (I'm assuming your bird :) ) is a Double Yellow Headed Amazon.

I thought about getting Bingo one of those perches, but I thought they were so close to the ground she'd hop off and never use it. I just might have to get loud mouth that today :)

he/she must be looking for a mate, because he starts at the crack of dawn and does not shutup until its really dark. I throw out my old bread for the birds or squirrel which ever comes first. My brother must have pissed him off what he ground it up with the lawn mower cause he kept buzzing by my deck making a racket. Damn bird is camped out in the tree near my bedroom.
