I spent a few days, last week, at a gummint conferance in my field.

On the first night a few of us ended up at a local Irish Pub (God I hate saying that...They AREN'T IRISH!!) and as usual someone brought up Bush and Iraq.

Of course I made my views about the PNAC fuckwits very clear. So two fellow conferance goers tried to team up on me.

All I will say is that I stayed on topic and refused to let them change to subject to vague emotional issues like "We freed the Iraqi People" BS.

They kept insisting that Iraq had WMD's, I insisted that they prove their erroneuos arguments or shut the fuck up.

After a while the two left to go into the bar, we had been outside, so I went back to chatting about less corrosive topics with the others at the table.

Then what happened? They CAME BACK to resume the argument! I said (no shit), "Haven't you had enough?!". So we got into it again and one of my foes finally admitted that the WMD argument was crap and he was probably wrong to support the Invasion.

The other was almost apoplectic as I kept banging away.

Needless to say I saw the one that admitted fault the next morning, but the other didn't show up at any of the seminars or lunches or dinners.

So did I chase the neo-CON away? I sure as shit hope I did.

Intolerant? Me? Yep. I can't stand well educated idiots.

I ask then to tell me---"how many were "CONVICTED" of a "FELONY" which was commited while "WORKING FOR" President Clinton.

Then, I hit them with 127 Charged with crimes during Reagan eight.
Ones who went to prison.

Then, I ask if they want a list of 191 LIES by Bush and his comrades.

Then, do you care to CHECK RECORDS ON ECONOMY?

Reagan increased spending by 80%--Debt by 187%-Deficits by 112%. Please compare to Clinton's 28-28-Surplus. MAJOR STUFF.
