2. It was a steal...costs too much to heat, so I just use it in the summers!

4. Anyway, this church is huge--no way can you get the whole thing in
one photo--I think it's the largest church in Europe, or one of the largest. Pretty area of the city, too.

7. This photo was taken on April 7, 2005....
...was in Brussels for only a couple days. It was my first time, and I loved it. You're right, it's much more impressive than Paris', but I love that one also. I also love the area of paris it's in--Montemarte. It's very bohemian, trendy, and just a very relaxed atmosphere.

9. Ok, drop the cigarettes, but I'll let you keep the coffee...
...Brussels is really a mini-Paris--the Belgians would kill me if they heard me, but it really is. Similar architecture, cafe society, etc.

11. Did you take the funiculaire
up to the church or were you like me...didn't see it until after you climbed all those 50 million steps?

15. It's been 3 years since I was in paris, so I'm a little fuzzy...I do recal
seeing the entrance when I went back to the Metro station! Lots of good it did me then!

16. If you ever get to Brussels, you really should see this..it's a little bit
away from the city center, but definitely worth it.
