For two reasons:
1. Siglines aren't displayed for guests (like the googlebot)
2. Google has drastically reduced the priority for pages linked in forums for this reason. Comment-spam hardly works now.

Two DU links appeared on the first page of a Google search for "Commander Cuckoo Bananas" when I posted about 30 minutes ago, and now they don't appear at all in any of the Google search pages.

Who coulda done something like that?

In fact, a search with CCB and DU yields no results at all!

How can that be? Is it a government plot? Are we watched so closely that it was scrubbed after I pointed it out in a post? did a Mod do something? Was it a Google fart?

And finally, what'd I do with my tinfoil Bowler?

I've noticed it on some other searches as well. The first I found site xyz.fake.com and then I tried searching it again and it was gone (??) and a day later it was there again.

Also the local stuff etc. makes for different results. The link above will give the view from MrScorpio's computer, but your local view can be different once more. That's why it's better to paste a searchlink without the additional stuff eg. http://www.google.com/search?q=cuckoobananas
