The father of Dogma films calls Bush 'asshole'

And identifies himself as an American.

This is from a Norw. paper interviewing the Danish director Lars von Trier about his new movie Manderlay, a part of the America-trilogy that started with the movie Dogville in 2003.

Von Trier, who have never been to the USA, says:

- I hope that Manderlay has other qualities than just being portrayed as anti-American. Which it isn't. But it is a fact that the USA has a profound cultural impact on my home country, and currently we're a nation under bad influence. Bush is an asshole.

- America sits at the top of the world. There's no doubt about that. The influence is so strong, I see myself as 60 percent American. Therefore; I'm an American.
