9. We have one feeder

in the backyard and two in the front. I have seen as many as 12 hummers feeding or lined up waiting to get at the front ones.

The one in the back is jealously gaurded by a couple of
ruby throated Hummers who will run off any other hummers even though these guys are smaller ( the picture of the one in flight is a Ruby).
