Honestly though, I think it is the blame of all the fundies who preach abstinence. In the mind of teens, oral sex isn't the same as regular sex, so in the teen-aged minds, they're practicing abstinence.

I find it scary that it seems (according to all the reports) that people are having sex younger and younger. But, people have sex. I would rather my kids practice safe sex and be comfortable talking to me about it than have it be some sort of top secret thing and later one of them come to be having caught an STD or gotten pregnant.
